"...  24 million citizens without health coverage."

Our Mission

Our nation has millions of families without adequate access to affordable health care. For many it is the difference between groceries or a $150 clinic visit. Treatable conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure go unmanaged, leading to severe complications such as strokes, heart attacks, and loss of limbs. On May 4, 2017, the American Health Care Act (AHCA) was passed. As a result, approximately  24 million citizens will lose health coverage. Additionally, the AHCA outlines significant cuts to Medicaid funding.  The list of "preexisting conditions" previously banned by the Affordable Care Act have now returned which will also significantly reduce eligibility for many Americans. Kimberly Cares  was designed to be a resource that provides quality, affordable health services for everyone without regard to insurance status.
